[Resolved] GoDaddy DNS Issues

GoDaddy has resolved these issues. If you were affected by this problem you may have to restart StudioCloud before the syncing works again.

Some StudioCloud subscribers are experiencing network issues when they go to StudioCloud.com or when they try to access some of StudioCloud's services.

The problems these customers are experiencing are caused by DNS issues that GoDaddy is currently experiencing and attempting to resolve. You can read more about GoDaddy's issues at the following link. http://www.latimes.com/business/technology/la-fi-tn-godaddy-outages-20120910,0,2181207.story

Please note that StudioCloud's servers are not hosted with GoDaddy but our DNS services are. DNS stands for Domain Name Server and is the system used that allows you to type in the domain names such as studiocloud.com or google.com into a browser and it then redirects you to the appropriate server so that you can view that website.

If you are unable to login because of this issue please do the following steps.

  • Turn off your internet connection
  • Restart StudioCloud and login
  • After you have finished logging in turn on your internet connection
Please note that if you are experiencing this issue then your information will not be synced to StudioCloud's servers nor to your other computers until GoDaddy has resolved this issue.
