Free Cloud Services

StudioCloud is VERY EXCITED to announce the latest change to our award winning services. We are no longer offering the CloudBoost add-on but are instead GIVING IT AWAY FOR FREE. This means that all StudioCloud users, including free users, can now sync their data online and that all StudioCloud users, including free users, can sync with the iPhone, iPad, Android Phone, and Android Tablet apps.

All current CloudBoost users have been upgraded to EmployeeBoost accounts with 3 users with no change to their subscription. For more details regarding how this change affects current CloudBoost users please refer to the following blog post. http://blog.studiocloud.com/2012/12/important-cloudboost-changes.html

For a more detailed breakdown of the feature changes to the free account please refer to the following link. http://studiocloud.com/features.html

Please note that free accounts do not automatically sync in the background while working unlike the previous CloudBoost did. It is now require that free accounts click on the "Click to Sync" button in the bottom left corner of StudioCloud to Sync. In addition, you must be using version 3.1.154 or later of StudioCloud to get the free syncing.

When will this change take effect on the Free accounts? I'm excited to try it but it's not working on mine yet.

you will need to upgrade to the latest version of StudioCloud. 3.1.153. When you login it will automatically sync. Once that sync process finishes you will need to click on the "Click to Sync" button in the bottom left corner of the program.

I upgraded my account today. It now says that I am on 3.1.153 however the Click to Sync" button is not showing up on my screen in the in the bottom left corner or anywhere else. Has thing change been made effective across the board?

The technicians identified an issue for some free accounts which was causing the syncing to not work. Their is a new update which resolves the issue. Please update to version 3.1.154 and verify that you can now sync.

When I go to the mobile link listed and enter my business ID, username and password it says, "StudioCloud Mobile requires the CloudBoost add-on." I have a free subscription, and thought I was eligible for the mobile feature now as well after reading the blog. Maybe I misunderstand? Thanks!

Katie,

You have the old mobile app. Please delete it and download the new one from the apple app store or the android app store.

My system keeps telling me my sync attempt failed. Any ideas?

This tutorial steps through the process of resolving syncing issues. http://app1.studiocloud.com/support/index.php?/article/AA-00345/130/

If it is syncing successfully but every once in a while it fails then it probably means you are having internet issues every once in a while.

If you need additional help you will need to go to http://mystudiocloud.com to have a technician help you resolve the issues.

The "StudioCloud Business Mgr" is for phones and the "StudioCloud Business Mgr HD" is for tablets.

Can you verify that you have the latest version of the app and try logging in again. If you experience problems please go to the forum at http://mystudiocloud.com to get help.

516 Photography please upgrade to the latest version to see if you still have that problem.

Fixed the problem. I had the old green App on there. Once I deleted it and re-downaded it, the problem was fixed and works great!

Thank you Studio Cloud for making it Free! I really allows us to test it out and Add on the other powerful things in the future as we grow our businesses.

Will there be an update for the BlackBerry PlayBook App? Mine still keeps telling me that I need to upgrade (StudioCloud Mobile requires the CloudBoost add-on) but I have version 3.1.160? Thanks!

Hi. We have a cloudboost account with you and have just downloaded the new update, but still do not have access to employee boost. Can you please email us at info@two-d.co.uk and let us know why that is? thanks

Landon Green said...

We are looking into updating the blackberry version right now. We'll do an announcement when it is available. The current version there is no longer supported by StudioCloud.

Dan @ two-d photography,

I created a trouble ticket for your issue so please refer to that. You should have received an email saying that a trouble ticket was created. The technicians will look into the problem and respond by email regarding your issue.
